Migrant MassCathedral of St John, Chapel Street, Salford, M3 5LL
Saturday 26th May 2018
Last year saw the first celebration of migrant workers in the Diocese of Salford. The celebration saw hundreds of Catholics gathered on the feast of St Joseph the Worker to celebrate a Mass for Migrants at Salford Cathedral.
The Diocese of Salford and its sister charity Caritas Salford held its first Migrants’ Mass in 2017 to recognise the contribution of Migrant Workers and their families to UK society. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity in our communities and acknowledge the important role of Migrants to our society.
We are delighted that this celebration is returning for a second year.
