CAFOD 50th anniversary Mass

Mass was celebrated at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 28th January in thanksgiving for 50 years of CAFOD. Ann Wilson of CAFOD writes:

It was a beautiful occasion and the cathedral was packed with a congregation of almost 2,000.

It was a great celebration and we were delighted that Bishop Brain was able to concelebrate. The Mass was one of thanksgiving for the work of CAFOD over the past 50 years and it encompassed many of the people who have been involved over that time. We had a chance to have a cup of tea with old friends afterwards and we were joined by Bishop Brain and Father Stephen. There was much joy and laughter.
