The Maryvale Institute is offering a Certificate in Catechesis through distance learning This course, a two-year programme, is for anyone interested in developing their own faith for the sake of explaining it to others.

This might be as a catechist in a parish group, an evangelist, or anyone who wants to be able to give an account of their faith when questioned about it by others.

Many people from the diocese have already been on this highly successful course, and are seeing the fruits in their respective parishes.

What is a Catechist?
