The annual diocesan pilgrimage to Ladyewell takes place soon. Mgr Anthony Kay, the Vicar General, will lead this year's pilgrimage to the Lancashire shrine of Our Lady on Saturday 25th August. It starts earlier than in previous years, beginning with Mass at 12 noon in the church of St Mary, Fernyhalgh.

There will then be the procession to the shrine with Benediction, and a chance to venerate the large number of relics on display. The pilgrimage ends at about 4pm.

All are welcome on this pilgrimage. Any priests that are coming should kindly notify the Vicar General in advance.
