The Mass of Thanksgiving for couples celebrating 50 years, or more, of marriage.

Bishop Brain celebrated the Mass of Thanksgiving.
The Most Reverend Philips Naameh, Archbishop of Tamale, Ghana, also concelebrated.
The Archbishop was on a visit to the Diocese of Salford

Bishop Brain with Kate and Terry Crowther (marr. 50 yrs) from St Ethelbert's, Bolton with their son Damian and daughters Michelle and Melanie.

Joyce and Bill Paxton (marr. 50 yrs) from St Anne's Fairfield have four children and nine grandchildren.

John & Eileen Alston (marr. 50 yrs) from St Joseph's Ramsbottom with their son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.

Mr and Mrs Allan Bidwell (marr. 50 yrs) and John and Finola Bedford (marr 51 yrs), accompanied by their family, from St Mary's Failsworth.
Margaret Molloy (marr. 48 yrs) of St. Chad's  Cheetham. 

Patrick and Maureen Flynn (marr. 60 yrs) from St. Joseph's, Reddish.

Patrick & Mae Murphy from St. Edward's Parish Rusholme,.will be 50 years married in June 2010.

Dennis and Jo Taylor (right) married 52 years, with Dennis' brother Maurice and Eileen Thorpe. All are from St. Ann's, Stretford.
