A summary of everyday sanctity
We are asked to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect (see Matthew 5,48). There are as many ways of being holy as there are saints.
However, the teaching of the Church has always proclaimed that every baptised Christian is called to holiness:
“All Christians in any state or walk of life are called to the fullness of Christian life and to the perfection of charity. All are called to holiness”, says the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
