Work is participating in the creative activity of God. Work can make us happy if we see it as a means to develop our own creativity in the service of others. Our faith should be able to put some “soul” into work.

There is a saying which goes: “The only Bible that people are still prepared to read is the daily lives of Christians”. We have to show the presence of God in the workplace.

The challenge today is to reclaim and re-discover the dignity of human work and achievement as it is willed by God.

We have to use the workplace as a place to discover God and renew our personal bonds with God. Too often work and things become obstacles between us and God.  How can we use things and possess things but they don’t become an obstacle? How can we find God in our work?
