It is possible to go to an event by getting hold of a ticket. The Pope will not be coming to the Diocese of Salford, but arrangements have been made for parishioners to go to the beatification Mass of Cardinal Newman in Birmingham.

Smaller numbers of delegates will be going to the other events.

The events are ticketed, meaning that you will be admitted only with a ticket that has been allocated to you. Parish priests have been given the information about it. They will point you in the right direction if you have not been able to get a ticket. Nothing, however, is guaranteed, since the Police are very concerned about the numbers attending.

If you have not got a ticket and would like to go to an event, please speak to your parish priest as soon as possible!
