Liturgy of Blessing for Engaged Couples

Bishop John will be leading a Special Service of Blessing for Engaged Couples at Salford Cathedral. We have chosen this date because it is the weekend closest to the feast of St. Valentine.

During the Celebration we will ask God’s particular Blessing upon you and all couples getting married this year as you enter this final stage of your preparation for marriage.

Our Celebration together will be an opportunity to express that joy and our prayers that your wedding day is truly the beginning of something even more wonderful not just for yourselves but for your family and friends and indeed for wider society.

We look forward to welcoming all the couples who will be celebrating their marriage in the Diocese this year.
