Lourdes choir are looking for new members

Friday 23rd March 2018

2018 will mark the 160th Anniversary of the Lourdes Apparitions and it will be celebrated by pilgrims and clerics from all over the world. The liturgy and music play a major part of the pilgrimage and we would like to make to make this year particularly memorable.

The Salford Diocese Lourdes choir are looking for new members to enhance the liturgy for this special anniversary year.

This is a fun, dynamic group who give up their spare time to rehearse and work hard to make every service very special.

(The ability to read music is preferable but not essential)

If you are interested could you please contact Deborah Holmes on 0161 817 2210 or email your details to deborah.holmes@dioceseofsalford.org.uk

Music and Liturgy co-ordinator: Fr Philip Brady

Please note: ALL volunteers must hold a current Salford Diocesan Pilgrimage DBS before taking part in the pilgrimage.

A meeting with the safeguarding office will be arranged for new members to complete the relevant forms.

“The Diocese of Salford’s Lourdes Pilgrimage is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the vulnerable and expects all volunteers to share this commitment.”
