The Marian Procession is a Roman Catholic annual event held on the first Saturday of October, the month of the rosary.
A large wooden cross carried by young people presides the procession followed by the statue of Our Lady, which is beautifully decorated and carried by different people in stages along the way. Whilst we walk we pray the rosary and sing hymns to Our Lady in a spirit of prayer and celebration. Around 1000 people take part in the Marian Procession. It is a great feast of faith!
