Jordan Pitt, of Moss Side, is one of the three diocesan youth communications officers for the papal visit. Along with Lawrence and Jessica Taylor, he will have an extensive role in the lead-up to and coverage of the Visit. Here he says a few words about himself.
My name is Jordan Pitt. I am 17 and a student at Loreto College in Manchester. I am head altar server at Our Lady’s, Moss Side as well as a member of the diocesan under 18’s vocations group. I am delighted to have been chosen as a youth communications officer, covering the Papal Visit in September. This is a tremendous opportunity for the three of us and a role which I will take very seriously.
