A natural choice? |
What is the Creighton Model FertilityCareTM System (CrMS)?
The Creighton Model FertilityCareTM System (CrMS) works through the observation and interpretation of natural signs of fertility and infertility that occur on a cyclical basis in a woman’s body. These signs are called biomarkers and act as a signal that can relay what is going on inside a woman’s body. Couples using the system learn how to interpret these biomarkers and are able to use this information to recognise their times of fertility and infertility. This information can then be used to either achieve or avoid a pregnancy. This means that couples can choose to plan their family in a totally natural and healthy way.
The observation of biomarkers can also have another very important purpose as these biomarkers can relay information about a woman’s health. This means that women who use the system also have the added benefit of being able to monitor aspects of their gynaecological health.
The Creighton Model and a woman’s health
As the Creighton Model FertilityCare system is based on a process of observation and charting, it allows for a woman to become very attuned to certain aspects of her gynaecological health. Through using the system twinned with a medical approach such as Naprotechnology, the system can then be used to treat many different gynecological problems that can affect women.
