Living the faith at home |
Living the faith at home is one of the great challenges of family life precisely because of what is at stake. The home represents the first school that forms consciences, habits and characters.

The ideal of family life encompasses great love, joy, and faith. It would probably be true to say that most of us fall short on any or all of these but the Catholic faith challenges us to have the courage and determination to work to overcome our faults, making the ideal into a reality for our families.
So how can we work for this ideal? It comes down to exposure to God, and more specifically, to how we expose ourselves and our families to his infinite and divine presence. One of the primary means for families to gain this exposure is through family prayer.
