The Department for Education provides a range of policies and guidance, specifically tailored to the needs of voluntary aided schools to support those schools and governing boards. Senior Leadership Appointments
All Senior Leadership appointments in diocesan Schools and Colleges are governed by the Bishops’ Memorandum, 2014. For this reason the diocesan Department for Education must be fully involved in the entire appointment process for these posts.
