Affiliation

The affiliation between the Department for Formation and the schools and colleges of the Diocese of Salford is a source and strength for its success. Positive interconnected relationships exist and will be strengthened further by the activities of the DEEP Trust.

The DEEP Trust exists within the Department for Formation and will inherit its established partners and build prospective partners. Through the Catholic Leadership Progamme, academic accreditation exists but these will be extended to other areas of study with Liverpool Hope University. Additionally, distance learning programmes with St Mary’s Twickenham are a focus of future development.

The DEEP Trust aims to further the links with many Catholic organisations. Prominent among these are Caritas – Diocese of Salford, our own Department for Evangelisation, EducareM, the Jerusalem Trust, Porticus, the Catholic Education Service as well as other diocesan groups and organisations.

Accreditation & Partners of the Trust

The provision through the DEEP Trust will be sourced from our own schools but also through a range of relevant organisations and institutions. The Trust has established links with most of the organisations set out below and will continue to develop these further and expand links regionally, nationally and internationally.
