Pastoral Letters |
A Pastoral Letter is an open letter addressed by the Bishop to the priests and people of his diocese. Such Letters contain either general admonition, instruction or consolation, or directions for behaviour in particular circumstances. They are also sent out regularly in particular seasons, particularly at the beginning of the seasons of Lent and Advent.
