Pope John Paul II, quoting Our Lord, is famous for encouraging young people to "put out into the deep" so that they can "let down their nets for a catch". Pope Benedict says similar things, constantly asking us to "seek the face of Christ". Does all this sound mysterious? The popes have a point. They firmly believe that young people are the hope of the Church.

What does it mean, to put out into the deep, or seek Christ's face? What John Paul and Benedict are saying is something like, Ask the big questions! Have the courage to stand up for your faith! Get to know Christ! As this short video shows, he is closer than we might think:
