Christmas is such an important time for raising funds and collecting gifts for our Caritas Services. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in raising money and support for our Caritas projects and beneficiaries at this time.
The Caritas Schools Service has been overwhelmed with the support following the call for extra gifts for children in our schools who wouldn’t otherwise get any presents on Christmas Day. In the last week, even since we made the appeal we have received over 40 extra requests for Christmas presents. With the generosity and kindness of our supporters we have been able to satisfy all requests, and a small surplus of presents will start to be gathered for next year’s Toy Appeal. The whole Schools Team have been super hard at work collecting, sorting and distributing presents – a big well done and thanks to them too!
