Join us next week for the International Mass

Saturday 15th June 2019

The International Mass is now in its third year and we look forward to another celebration of the diversity and vibrancy that can be found across our diocese. This year the Mass will take place at 2pm on Saturday 22nd June at Salford Cathedral.

Last years mass saw over two hundred people representing over fifty languages attend the joyful celebration. It was an event of a truly international flavour. The congregation was made up of parishioners from around the diocese who gathered for a celebration that heard music from around the globe. We hope this year will be even bigger with more choirs participating.

Our parishes have a wonderful sense of community and this Mass is an opportunity to recognise the contribution of those who have chosen to settle and make the Diocese of Salford their home.

This year we have chosen the theme ‘No one left behind’ and as well as celebrating our many different communities we will also be reflecting on the importance of solidarity both in our faith and in our communities.

All Welcome!
