Lourdes at Home: ‘Every day I go in Spirit to the Grotto’

Thursday 23rd July 2020

The rescheduling of our 88th Salford Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes was a decision that was taken with a heavy heart but with the safety of our pilgrims and volunteers at the forefront of our minds.

Over the past few months each and every one of us has had to make sacrifices for the safety of ourselves and those around us; but we have also witnessed great efforts to create a sense of normality and community.

In the week that our pilgrimage family would usually gather together in Lourdes, the pilgrimage team have developed a programme of events so that we can all experience Lourdes at Home.

The theme of the week is “Every day I go in Spirit to the Grotto”
