Young Adults Mass

Our next Young Adults Mass will take place on Sunday 10th July with a special focus on the parable of The Good Samaritan and the work of our diocesan charity Caritas Diocese of Salford.

This month, we are delighted to welcome Fr Ged Murphy (Episcopal Vicar for Caritas) as our main celebrant and homilist, and Patrick O’Dowd (Director of Caritas) as our speaker after Mass.

Fr Ged and Patrick are set to explore the parable of The Good Samaritan, featured in that week’s Gospel, by looking at Pope Francis’ teachings in his encyclical Fratelli Tutti and how these teachings shape the work of Caritas in our own diocese.

Mass will begin at 5.30pm and will be followed by a social, which will include a talk from Patrick and an opportunity to socialise. As always, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available between 4.45 and 5.15pm before Mass.
